When we started out with our unschooling journey, we felt a little like knights in shining armor freeing ourselves from our own self-imposed shackles. Hence the name of the blog.

Ravi and I had a blast doing this. The Pune Homeschoolers had a lovely Halloween Party last evening. Raghu was the initiator and got his wish! We had a lovely and large turn out and lots of food... superb pumpkin pie and bbq etc. We had a wall of carved Pumpkins and a fantastic view of the moon from Divya's terrace. There were many other costumes. I have a few photos here.

Thanks Sandra. Fyi...Raghu was Batman... and at the end of the party he said thank you to Ravi. Asked why... Raghu said, "because you became my Joker" :-)

Raghu had not known that Ravi would even dress up at all. So it was a lovely last minute thing.

WOw! Hema! This is incredible! Also is the strength you have to unschool somewhere without all the support and resources of museums, parks, etc that we have here in the US. I just read your post on Dayna's list and that led me to your blog. You rock woman!
Susan from Dayna's list. ( I am in NH in the US)

Thank you Susan for your encouraging words! I love Dayna's list. Gradually getting to know and recognize members of the list. Love and light to you, Hema :-)
